This was our horizon

for the whole month of july, Kairon Plage, because DD Pauline and her daughter moved over and left Granville for a sweet little house and a tiny garden, just 200 metres from the beach.
And we where lazy folks , lazy i tell you.....
The wheather was awesome, warm and sunny, and just one hour with pouring rain in the whole month, hitherto unseen for at least a 100 years i think, it's Normandy after all...

This is the new guy in their home, a 4 month old cat called MOUMOUNE, and we're friends forever. I love all cats anyway, and he loves quilts..

The beach here is so big that it never seems crowded, and on certain hours of the day you're all alone, even in summer. See the rocky part at the very end of the pic?
Just behind is  le Mont ST. Michel, a place we never visit during tourist period, only off season.

I managed to make this little quilt from Petra Prins and An Moonen's new book, as well as about 20 blocks for Nearly Insane, but these blocks are not yet pictured.
I also spend a lot of time on Pinterest, as DD has a very good computer with a wide screen.
I thought i better pop in and say hello, you might think something could have happened here, but no, it was just that long and gorgeous summer that kept me away from blogging.
Next wednesday i leave for Ste Marie aux Mines, Xenia Cord.
See you soon with Foto's from quilts, exhibitions and socializing,
Will V in Paris, sunny and still warm
